What Is Grade / GPA?
A GPA (grade point average) is the average of your grades weighted by credit hours, usually on a 4.0 scale (A=4, B=3, C=2, D=1, F=0). This calculator lets you enter courses with letter grades and credits to get your GPA, or find what grade you need in a new course to reach a target GPA. It uses a standard scale; your school may use +/- or different values—check your institution's policy.
